Our mission
Called to Peace Ministries (CTPM) is a nondenominational, nonprofit, 501 (c)(3) ministry dedicated to offering hope and healing to women who have experienced various forms of abuse, particularly domestic abuse, and emotionally destructive relationships.
Our twofold mission is:
1) to provide advocacy, support groups and practical assistance to individuals affected by domestic abuse and
2) to help churches and other organizations better respond to these issues through education and mentoring.
Statement of Faith
Called to Peace Ministries is an evangelical, nondenominational parachurch ministry. We hold to the basic tenants of the faith as passed down by the church fathers and set forth in the Apostles’ Creed. We believe that God’s Word is the standard by which Christians are to live their lives.
At CTPM we believe that there should be unity when it comes to the essentials of the faith and liberty in the non-essentials. We allow for freedom of conscience when it comes to matters of theology that are not as clear or central to the Bible’s teaching. Our staff, board and volunteers are made up of people from various denominations who choose to respect one other in spite of doctrinal differences. When working with clients, we choose to maintain the same stance. We do not impose our theology on anyone related to matters such as divorce and remarriage, headship/submission and other issues that are widely debated among Evangelicals. We will work within your doctrinal framework and respect your stance as long as it does not endanger victims of abuse.
