Lord, I need You desperately! True life is impossible without You. I need your presence, your guidance, your peace. Help me be sensitive to your Spirit today. Give me eyes to see things as You do, to recognize the spiritual needs around me, and to shine your light into the darkness. You have put a vision for ministry in my heart to help women and children displaced by crisis, but left to me it is simply impossible. However, with God all things are possible. I ask that You bring the right people into my path. The thing You are asking me to do involves so many things that I am not gifted to do, so I ask You to bring those who have the skills that will be needed. Send people with pure hearts who will have the same passion for hurting people. Father, give me wisdom not to rush ahead of You, and to wait on your leading. Today, help me to hear your voice above the tumult. There are so many voices that seek my attention, but help me to find that quiet place in my spirit that helps me hear You above all the noise. I give You my day, my life, my will, and all that I am.
Little lamb, let me lead you by the still waters and restore your soul. This world will beat you up, so you must find time to be restored in my presence. I Am with you always. If you do not easily find my path, it is because you have strayed away. Walk with Me. It is not a difficult thing to do, and that is where you will find the wisdom and peace you desire. I will be faithful to lead those who stand ready, so prepare your mind for action. Be still and know that I am God, listen for my voice. My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me. Do you realize how much pressure this will remove from your life? You do not have to figure everything out in advance; you do not have to make things happen, you only need to follow Me. I will make the darkness shine, and make the rough places level. I will not forsake you. I give you the power to walk victoriously in this life, but you must choose to walk in my Spirit rather than your flesh. When you do this love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control will come naturally. These traits follow those who passionately desire Me. You must choose your passion. Most people choose to live for self and earthly passions, but that is the path to misery. True life comes in dying to self. I created you, and have the best intentions for your life. Your knowledge is limited, and your emotions often lead you away from my freeing truth. So today wait and surrender to my loving guidance. It is my pleasure to walk with my children. Take my hand and come.
