The Called to Peace Ministries (CTPM) Emergency Fund was exactly the help and support that my children and I needed at the exact moment we needed it. I will be forever grateful for how CTPM stepped into my life and lifted me up in such way that I was able to get through a challenging, stressful, and uncertain time.
As a single mother of three young children, even working full-time in this day and age is simply not enough when there are expensive childcare costs, the rising costs of groceries and gasoline, living expenses, and the list goes on.
At the time, I received help, I had no child support coming in, and I was falling desperately behind in almost every area of my finances.
I had no one to turn to for help, and I didn’t know how in the world I was going to catch up on the childcare expenses for me to continue to go to work every day.
I reached out to CTPM and was immediately met with grace, understanding, prayers, support as I was given instructions on the steps I could take to request assistance for my financial troubles. Not only did CTPM rescue me from a dire situation, but I was connected with a wonderful mentor who has also been such a blessing to me as I have walked through these difficult times.
I have personally experienced how God has used the people of CTPM in such a meaningful and impactful way for the community of women who need it the most. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for being there for my precious children and me. They mean everything to me, and the way the ministry supported us will never be forgotten.
