Lord, I am weary. Life is a constant struggle sometimes. Give me your strength today. Help me rise above the cares of this world, and to bask in your glorious presence. Everyday I come to you with the same struggles, and yet You manage to speak a new word to my heart. You are amazing, and I love You so much. Be with me this day. Give me strength to get it all done, and to walk in the Spirit in the midst of it. Forgive me for being so easily distracted, and help me set my gaze on You in spite of the constant demands of life. I truly do need You every hour. Be with me and give me peace and strength for this day.
My child, I long to help you, and stand ready to strengthen you. If you are struggling, it is because you are allowing circumstances to rule you rather than Me. You must choose to be still and quiet your heart before Me. Strength is found in my presence. As you find the joy of fellowship with Me, you will be empowered for the battles of life. Apart from Me you can do nothing, so why do you spend so much time trying? Sing praises to Me. Enter my gates with thanksgiving, and my inner courts with praise. I invite you to come into my presence with singing. Rest in my steadfast love that endures forever, and do not let temporal things rule you. They are not worthy, but I am. Every moment of your life you must choose to either exist or live. I am the life-giver, and true life is only found in my presence. My Word is living and active, and able to discern the thoughts and intentions of your heart (Heb. 4:12) so you must evaluate your motives in light of my Word. However, that is only half the battle, because if you are not in my presence and walking in my Spirit, your knowledge is futile. If you knew all the mysteries contained in my Word and had all knowledge, or if you had all faith, without love would be meaningless (1 Cor. 13:2). I am love, so in order to walk in victory, you must abide in Me. Be still and know Me. I am with you.
Make a joyful noise to the Lord, all the earth! Serve the Lord with gladness! Come into his presence with singing! Know that the Lord, he is God! It is he who made us, and we are his; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.
Enter his gates with thanksgiving, and his courts with praise! Give thanks to him; bless his name! For the Lord is good; his steadfast love endures forever, and his faithfulness to all generations.
