Susie Hornor
Hospitality Coordinator
Susie Hornor resides on a quiet mini-farm in North Carolina with her husband and four children. She is a homeschooling mom, faithful friend, and passionate church volunteer. Susie has been serving CTPM in various ways over the past few years, but her journey ministering to the hurting began in her teens. At an early age, she sought to walk alongside the brokenhearted and those in crisis. Susie spent a season as an EMS first responder in which she experienced crisis firsthand while helping individuals and families amid tragedies. Over time, God has given her and her husband many opportunities to house, serve, and transport mothers and children in need of refuge and support. Her great compassion and awareness of those in need enables her to faithfully pour God’s love and truth into the ones she serves. Susie is incredibly excited to participate in her church’s launch team to develop a church-wide domestic abuse response strategy. She passionately desires to see the church become the greatest vessel of hope and healing for the abused, oppressed, and voiceless. While she shares her hospitality gift with CTPM, Susie is also training to become an advocate. With the support of her family, she is committed to being a vessel of God’s hope and strength and longs to see “beauty from ashes” concerning these horrific situations. (Isaiah 61:3)
