Susanna Elliott

Crisis Counselor & Trauma Therapist

Susanna is a marriage and family therapist intern and graduate student at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary, working towards an M.A. in marriage, family, and individual counseling (graduating in December 2020). She is a Certified Clinical Trauma Specialist and holds a certification in treating sex-trafficking and exploitation victims. Susanna is passionate about serving survivors of domestic abuse and childhood sexual abuse. She considers it a privilege to sit with survivors, hear their stories, and join them on their healing journey. Her work with this population has increased her awareness of unique issues concerning abuse in Christian settings, stirring a desire to educate the Christian community concerning strategies to prevent abuse and equipping them to respond well when abuse occurs. Susanna is a loving mother and a faithful friend. Her gentle presence, compassion, and wisdom have supported and led many women to healing and wholeness.
