Lauren’s passionate enthusiasm to support the vital work of Called to Peace Ministries (CTPM) through strategic marketing, communications, storytelling, and education was birthed from knowing first-hand the effectiveness of the resources and programs CTPM offers to survivors of abuse. She desires for every woman impacted by domestic abuse to know the heart of her Father who sees, loves, and calls her to peace. “I believe CTPM emulates the heart of the gospel by defending the oppressed and setting captives free, while inviting the local church to be part of preparing His bride for His return by protecting the vulnerable and oppressed.”

Lauren comes to CTPM with seven years of experience working in the nonprofit sector in communications and public relations. She received her degree in Biblical Counseling from a small Bible College. In her twenties, she additionally volunteered with the nonprofit she worked with, to mentor hundreds of hurting teens from around the world, giving her an understanding of how Christ can heal the broken when they connect with His heart and His truths are applied. Since working for CTPM, she has dived headfirst into the world of understanding nonprofit marketing and communications and has taken numerous courses and been mentored by some incredible individuals. She is also an affiliated advocate with CTPM.  

Lauren has one daughter in middle school, whom she describes as wise, feisty, and hilarious. Together, they enjoy outdoor adventures, traveling, and their dog, Lululemon
