Dan and his wife, Shannon, have five daughters, two sons-in-law, and three grandsons. They recently co-authored the book Domestic Abuse and the Dechurched.
Having witnessed the upheaval caused by domestic violence in families, Dan is particularly passionate about helping churches intervene effectively in these situations. He has been a keynote speaker, seminar presenter, and conference trainer in the US, India, and Czech Republic.
He serves Called to Peace Ministries as the Church Partnership Coordinator. In this role, he spends his time equipping pastors and church leaders to identify and respond to situations involving domestic abuse and coercive control. He leads a team of church partnership liaisons that assists with consulting, training, and supporting churches.
Dan and his wife, Shannon, have five daughters, two sons-in-laws, and three grandsons. When not spending time chasing his grandsons, Dan is searching for glassy water so he and his daughters can go barefoot water-skiing.
